A complete repositioning of a 3 storey cliff face building with panoramic views. BWG led the coordination of architectural & full structural design and engineering for an integrated & efficient outcome including the priority of maximising the glazing and views. The project team undertook an innovative approach to research and development with specialist trades to achieve the architect and client objectives in a seamless manner. Material selection from framing through to finishes were based on withstanding the affects of salt spray as long term sustainability was an early team focus and planning priority. Other bespoke elements include Vitrocsa aluminium windows & doors, a 3 level curved staircase fabricated onsite, custom external stainless steel balustrading, internal brass mesh and the use of spotted gum, European oak and Bianco Alpi granite and Elba Dolomite.
